About Lumsden & District Heritage Home

The Lumsden & District Heritage Home is an independently owned long-term care home that was built in 1987. The nationally accredited Home is affiliated and receives funding from the Saskatchewan Health Authority while retaining its ownership and governance structure.

In June of 2024, the Home transitioned from a municipally owned site with the original owners of the Towns of Lumsden and Regina Beach, the Villages of Craven, Bethune, Dilke, Disley, Holdfast and Silton along with the RM’s of Dufferin, Lumsden, Pense and Sarnia, to an open-based membership governance model.

The Heritage Home provides 24 hour professional nursing and supportive care for 30 permanent residents. We also provide Adult Day Support Programming for as many as 5 individuals on each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Three days each week, the Home supplies meals for the Senior Meal Program which is served out of the Lumsden Park Manor on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
